Baia Fish is an industrial fish-freezing facility, newly established in Baía Farta (Angola), equipped with state-of-the-art technology for receiving, handling, freezing, and preserving fish. Vacuum-pump unloading virtually eliminates fish damage, while intake tanks with chilled seawater and next-generation processing equipment ensure the product leaves the plant frozen with unmatched quality.
The project also included the construction of a 24 m purse seiner with a fish-hold capacity of 60 tons, to serve the facility.
The installed freezing capacity is 160 tons/day in four high-efficiency tunnels using technology that allows two freezing cycles per day, and the storage capacity for frozen product is 300 tons in two cold rooms.
