The Institute of Welding and Quality inaugurated a tunnel at its Castelo Branco facilities for testing vehicles transporting food products and other perishables, considered the largest in Europe, completely designed and built by NOVANOR, this being the third test tunnel built. As it is an instrument of the greatest importance in the context of food security in the country and in the transport of goods and for the competitiveness of the Portuguese economy, the event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Pedro Siza Vieira, and the President of the City Council by Castelo Branco, Luís Manuel dos Santos Correia.
