One of the largest pig slaughterhouses in Europe and a reference project in the meat industry, MAPORAL has an installed slaughter capacity of 350 pigs/hour. The technology implemented in the cold chain, in the rapid cooling and conservation of carcasses, allows a maximum weight loss of 1.2% to be achieved, which represents very significant savings for investors in exploitation. The cutting and packaging rooms are fully mechanized with the particularity of having installed a cooled air distribution solution with very low speed and reduced noise level, which makes the operation of the air conditioning system practically imperceptible.
